Once we had finished our magazine advert I spoke to a few members of our target audience and asked them to write down the positives and negatives of the advert in which we had created. I can gladly say that the positives outweighed the negatives and overall the people I spoke to from our target audience were genreally happy with what we had created.

Magazine Advert Feedback By Jordan Scott

What we learnt:

1) People decided that the lighting on the image was a bit harsh. We could of edited the image better. Including better use of colour correction, and we even had comments tht the cutting off the image was slightly off. However some people really liked that we only used an image of the main singer and therefore it was a very stricking and eye capturing image.

2) We also learnt that people thought our advert was very informative and they like the use of quotes and reviews we have used. However we could maybe list less songs and therefore make some of the other writing bolder and bigger.

3) People really liked the mise-en-scene we created throughout. They liked the clothing, artist, hair and location. They feel the brick wall highly represents out chosen genre of indie.
