Prop List
By James Beesley

Below are all the props that we need for our music video. Due to our video being band performance based, we don't need many props. Also, the song is very simple and so having too many props will draw away from the focus of the band which is what is most important in the video. The way in which the band performs the song is the most important because getting the message of the song portrayed most effectively to the audience is our main aim. The lyrics are most important particularly for this song and so they have to be carried across to the audience in the best way possible and having very few props for distraction will give the band full focus from the audience and as a result the message of the song will be conveyed more successfully.

The microphone and stand are needed for the lead singer to use in the video.

The stall is for the guitarist to sit on whilst he plays the guitar. The intimacy of the song meant that we felt having him sat down was a better idea than him standing.

The camera and tripod are extremely important for the music video. The camera is obviously needed to record all the clips for the video. The tripod will allow us to take steady shots particularly of the whole band themselves in an establishing shot.

The guitar is used by the guitarist and is a key component in the video as the song is predominantly guitar. It is also an acoustic guitar as this is what is used in the song.

The drums are an instrument also used in the song and will be needed in our video. Although the drums arent prominent in the song they are still a component needed as they do feature.
